Class of 1975 50-Year Reunion

50th Reunion – Class of 1975

A 50 year reunion will be held for students from Catholic Girls High School Braddon and Daramalan College who finished Year 12 in 1975 (including those from that group who finished before Year 12).

Date: Saturday 18 October 2025

Venue: Ainslie Football Club, Canberra

Weekend program:

Because this is a major milestone for us, we are planning a number of activities for the weekend. Come to any or all events:

Friday 17 October (5pm for 6pm start) – meet and greet. Venue to be decided.

Saturday 18 October (8:30am for 8:45am start) – Lake Burley Griffin walk

Saturday 18 October (1pm to 2:30pm approx.)

🏫 guided school tour – CGHS Braddon (now Merici College)

🏫 guided school tour – Daramalan College

Saturday 18 October (6:30pm to 11:30pm) – the main event at the AFC. This will be a ticketed event in a private function room with food, a bar, and AV equipment. The ticket price will cover the room hire and food. Buy your own drinks.

Sunday 19 October (9:30am to 10:30am) – Mass at St Brigids, Dickson.

Sunday 19 October (10:30am for 11am start) – brunch/recovery/farewell at Siren Bar & Restaurant, Gungahlin.

Further details, including ticketing arrangements, will be provided in early 2025. Updates will be communicated via Facebook (Daramalan College Alumni group, Merici College Alumni group, and Dara – Braddon 1975 group) and email (if we have your current email address).
