Peter-John Di Michiel
Peter-John Di Michiel (1986)
Peter John, or PJ as his friends knew him, passed away suddenly on his property in Happy Valley, near Ballarat, on 29 September 2023, leaving a gaping hole for his three adoring children, Jacob, Taylor and Leah, and his partner Jo. PJ knew early on that he wanted to be an architect and never wavered from his goal. He built a highly successful career and became not just an outstanding architect, but also a greatly respected mentor and leader.
PJ took pride in leading the school community as captain in 1986. He was studious, diligent, hard-working, and athletic, representing the ACT in cross country and soccer. He was enormously respected by teachers and student alike. PJ was always a high achiever but remained humble, reserved and down to earth. His love of VWs and vegemite sandwiches never wavered through his school years. He was a loyal, constant and reliable friend who will be greatly missed.
PJ was the cherished eldest son of Margaret and Tony, loving brother and brother-in-law to Ann-Marie and Jason (dec), Bronwyn and Ken, Matthew and Vanessa, Kathryn and David and Luke and Emma and loving uncle to 21 nieces and nephews.
